We’re delighted to have been awarded a place on Derby City Council’s four year framework for asbestos consultancy as part of its ongoing commitment to quality asbestos management and legal compliance.
The three year plus contract was won in a European Journal competitive tender. ASKAMS was ranked highly in the framework, which will see the company provide a range of asbestos management services to Derby County Council including surveying, testing and training.
Derby County Council is responsible for many local authority municipal buildings including a large proportion of CLASP (Consortium of Local Authorities Special Programme) schools.
ASKAM’s managing director, Stewart McNicholl said: “This agreement starts a brand new working relationship between ASKAMS and Derby County Council. The tender was based on quality and price and our high ranking on the framework shows we continue to get it right.
“Further to this, the agreement will help us secure more local jobs and further establish ASKAMS as one of the leading and most respected asbestos management solutions providers in the Midlands.”
