Askams have recently been awarded a place on the Northern Housing Consortium Framework for Asbestos Management Services.
The bid team work extremely hard to gain places and win contracts to support the organisation and its growing workforce. Winning work anywhere within the country is a fantastic opportunity for us but to be awarded new business within our home territory of the North East gives us an extra boost that we haven’t forgotten where we came from.
The Northern Housing Consortium is an organisation with the same principles as ourselves: –
“To support housing providers across the North of England to help them make the North a great place to live”
Members within the framework represent approximately 90% of housing providers within the North of the country and they each bring innovative working methods and practices. The consortium was established in 1974 allowing members access to networking opportunities and the benefit of being able to share best practice techniques with other industry peers. The main perk to members is that they can access a comprehensive portfolio of high quality products and services from qualified and experienced organisations; without the need to go through the tedious task of procuring via several different channels.
The member organisations are able to access our full range of asbestos services from surveying and air monitoring, through to training and consultancy.
We will be joining the consortium at the upcoming Chartered Institute of Housing’s Annual Conference and Exhibition in June in Manchester. This will give you the ideal opportunity to come along and meet us face-to-face and discuss what we can offer you.
